In rear process projection a film is projected behind a cutaway of an automobile to have movement going on in the background. There is a major error in this scene. The projectors used for this had variable speeds. The speed is wrong and if one looks carefully, the vehicles would be traveling at speeds which would make NASCAR jealous! The scene where the Marvins are running through a burning forest are also rear process projection. The lack of realism on this is almost laughable. Most of these films were extremely low budget, and this is one of the problems that production staff and crew faced when money was not there to re-shoot.
